Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baines McAdvar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddie Miller! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McAdvar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Miller moves away. Miller swings for the body but McAdvar moves out of range.
McAdvar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McAdvar fails to land with a series of punches.
McAdvar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Miller misses with an uppercut. A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. McAdvar does a little dance to reset his feet. McAdvar has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Touch Of Death Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight. McAdvar throws a lazy right hand but Miller sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. McAdvar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McAdvar throws a wild combination but nothing lands. McAdvar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Miller. Miller looks to score with a jab to the body but McAdvar is just out of range. McAdvar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McAdvar thows a leg kick but Miller checks it and Miller counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Baines McAdvar has been cut. McAdvar is breathing heavily. Miller jabbing away but nothing is landing. Miller misses with an uppercut. Miller has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. McAdvar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Miller scores with a jab to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. McAdvar does a little dance to reset his feet. Miller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McAdvar, pushing him back against the cage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Miller.

Miller lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Miller lands a body punch in the clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Miller.
A nice left hand lands by Miller.

Still in the clinch, Miller scores with a nice short uppercut. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Miller creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A right handed body shot lands from Miller.
McAdvar's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miller is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down McAdvar rather than just go for the knockout. Miller gets a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miller scores with a hook to the body. Miller throws a blind hook that connects with the side of McAdvars head.
McAdvar is rocked! Miller lands a body shot. A nice left hand lands by Miller.
Oh McAdvar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Still in the clinch, Miller scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are playing wrist control here with McAdvar pressed against the cage. Miller frees himself up and cracks McAdvar with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! McAdvar crumples to the floor, out cold! Miller jumps on to the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Freddie Miller! Freddie Miller bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
