Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kortez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice body punch from Stern.
Kortez fails with the takedown
and Stern counters with a nice body shot.
Kortez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Stern lands with a good body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab lands there for Stern.
Kortez with a lazy takedown attempt

Alex Stern has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Treavon Kortez.
Stern works the jab nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stern lands with a nice combination. Kortez backs away looking to recover.
Stern lands a left and a right that send Kortez crashing to the mat, dazed. Stern thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Kortez is rocked!
It looks like Treavon Kortez has been cut.
Kortez switches off momentarily and Stern cracks him with a monster right hand! Kortez topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Stern dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Stern!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alex Stern!
Alex Stern bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
Treavon Kortez was interviewed post fight and said 'All this does is motivate me to get in the gym more and focus on my weaknesses ill be back soon well done to my opponent.'.
