The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepard forces Maadala back against the cage and clinches.
Shepard prevents Maadala from breaking the clinch.
Shepard landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Shepard has Maadala pressed against the cage.
Maadala throws a punch but it's blocked by Shepard.
Maadala wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Maadala can't break the clinch.
Shepard breaks the clinch.
Shepard tries to close the distance and clinch but Maadala swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Maadala tries to bum rush Shepard with a series of wild strikes but Shepard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A combination from Maadala does no damage.

Shepard fails in his attempt to clinch.
Shepard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maadala swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Shepard rushes Maadala and presses him up against the cage.

Maadala is still on wobbly legs! Can Shepard finish him?
Shepard jerks Maadala's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Maadala drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Shepard goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Shepard because Maadala was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
