Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Phil Harrass (ranked 4025 p4p, 183 weight class) and General Bushido (ranked 3015 p4p, 142 weight class). Harrass comes to the cage accompanied by Tomorrow. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Harrass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, General Bushido! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrass throws a lazy right hand but Bushido sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Harrass tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bushido manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bushido scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Harrass has a takedown stuffed. Harrass misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bushido takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Bushido counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Harrass! Harrass sneaks back into half guard. Harrass is looking for a sweep. Bushido is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Harrass avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bushido.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrass has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bushido is working away from the top position though. Bushido thumps the canvas. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Harrass working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bushido. Bushido controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Bushido preventing the sweep. Bushido engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A big right from Bushido misses. Phil Harrass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harrass looks to land a left hand but Bushido moved out of range nicely. And Bushido tries to counter it with a takedown but Harrass pushes his down on his head and steps out. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Harrass.
Harrass avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Harrass darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Harrass content to stall in guard here. Bushido working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Harrass.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Harrass shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bushido sprawls well. Bushido wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harrass gets slowly back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bushido has a takedown stuffed. Harrass loads up on a big right hand but Bushido slips the punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
General Bushido dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bushido fails with a takedown attempt. It looked like Harrass was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Harrass is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bushido. Harrass throws a lazy right hand but Bushido sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bushido unleashes a big counter combination but Harrass bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Harrass's corner calls for a 1-2. Harrass obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. General Bushido is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harrass throws an overhand right that lands on Bushido's shoulder, as Bushido tries to avoid the shot. Harrass throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bushido was covering up waiting for the punch and Harrass finishes the takedown easily into guard. Harrass trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrass got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bushido has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Harrass has managed to get both his arms back between Bushido's legs - danger averted. Bushido looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Harrass has picked Bushido up and slammed him! Bushido can't keep hold of the triangle and Harrass manages to pass to side control! Harrass is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bushido has escaped the position, nice work there. Harrass is putting a hurting on Bushido here, landing some big shots from side control. Harrass controls the position. Bushido is looking to regain half guard here but Harrass keeps moving and retains side control. Bushido takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bushido regains half guard, as Harrass was trying to land strikes. Harrass frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bushido holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Harrass tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bushido tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Harrass scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. What's Bushido going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bushido wants to control but Harrass postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phil Harrass dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bushido being controlled for a moment. Bushido struggling a bit here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bushido is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bushido stops Harrass from passing to mount. You can see the frustration on Bushido's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Harrass trying to control the position but Bushido is working away. Bushido can't do much from the bottom here. Bushido is looking for a sweep.

He's worked his way up against the cage but Harrass has just dragged him back down to the mat. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Harrass lands a few punches from side control. Bushido is not content to let Harrass control the position. Harrass is chipping away with strikes.
Bushido is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Bushido prevents Harrass from moving into mount. Bushido tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Harrass wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrass scores with a couple of short elbows. Bushido is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Harrass wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bushido keeps working. Bushido gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Harrass wants to take a breather but Bushido is having none of it. Bushido is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Harrass is trying to control. Bushido wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrass is just content to waste time from the top position. Bushido takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Bushido is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Harrass throwing strikes from guard but Bushido blocks nicely. Harrass postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Harrass showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Harrass looks to throw the jab but Bushido is out of range. Bushido counters with a body kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Phil Harrass showed his dominance in that final round. I think Harrass has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
