Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soma Feiter (ranked 4866 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duan Er Kuan (ranked 5938 p4p, 0 weight class). Er Kuan has chosen strobelite Gorrilaz as his entrance music. Duan Er Kuan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Er Kuan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Feiter is fending him off so far but Er Kuan persists. Nope, Feiter circles away and we're back to standing.
Er Kuan moves into the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Er Kuan takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Er Kuan looking to sit in guard and control but Feiter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Feiter seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Feiter connects with a nice short shot to Er Kuan's temple.

Er Kuan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Feiter connects with a decent elbow.
Er Kuan can't do much from the bottom here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Feiter lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Er Kuan! Feiter senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Er Kuan out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Soma Feiter!
