Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Sergeant (ranked 2474 p4p, 121 weight class) and Felix Jones (ranked 3326 p4p, 159 weight class). Dan Sergeant is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dives in and grabs Sergeant's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sergeant pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Sergeant is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard.
Sergeant is thwarting Jones's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jones kicks Sergeant off and gets back to his feet.
Sergeant dives in for a single leg takedown but Jones sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sergeant throws a one two combo.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sergeant shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sergeant shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Sergeant. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Sergeant on that attempt.

Jones fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sergeant to the ground. Jones is now in Sergeant's guard.
Sergeant wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jones manages to pass to side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sergeant hang on?
Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sergeant is looking to escape.
Jones is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Sergeant is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sergeant attempts a counter takedown but Jones avoids it well and moves away.
Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sergeant tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Sergeant's guard.
Sergeant is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Sergeant tries a knee to the head but Jones blocks it.
Jones has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sergeant is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sergeant pulls his leg out and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sergeant kicks off Jones and gets to his feet.
Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Sergeant!
Sergeant is pushing Jones's head away, looking to escape. Jones manages to hold on to the position though.

Jones misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

You can see the frustration on Sergeant's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jones throws an elbow but Sergeant slips to the side and avoids it well.

Sergeant quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jones has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sergeant celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
