Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evan Glascoe (ranked 4242 p4p, 508 weight class) and Ramil Pulatov (ranked 4133 p4p, 496 weight class). Pulatov has chosen National Anthem of Uzbekistan as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evan Glascoe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ramil Pulatov!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulatov throws a right hand that misses
and Pulatov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pulatov, as that shot connected.


It looks like Evan Glascoe has been cut.
Glascoe walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Glascoe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pulatov did well to prevent Glascoe getting side control.
Glascoe wants to control but Pulatov is keeping him busy.
Glascoe controlling the action here.
Pulatov is trying to control but can't.
Glascoe is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pulatov!
Glascoe takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Pulatov trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Glascoe keeps control of the position as Pulatov tries to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glascoe lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Pulatov hold on?!

Glascoe is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Pulatov has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Glascoe is looking for a choke. Pulatov gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Pulatov manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Pulatov wants to control from the top but Glascoe keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pulatov looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Pulatov stopping the sweep attempt from Glascoe.
Glascoe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pulatov wanted to stand there but Glascoe had control of the position.
Pulatov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Pulatov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Glascoe is keeping the position for now.

Glascoe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pulatov defends well.

Pulatov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Glascoe to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pulatov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Glascoe pulls down on the head and he's put Pulatov to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Evan Glascoe!
