Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Rinaldi (ranked 9445 p4p, 788 weight class) and Dandelion Cornier (ranked 3444 p4p, 434 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gustav Rinaldi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dandelion Cornier!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornier cracks Rinaldi with a good jab.
Cornier misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rinaldi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cornier sprawls and moves away.
A head kick by Cornier misses
and Rinaldi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Cornier is looking to stand back up but Rinaldi counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Cornier.
Cornier tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Rinaldi manages to move to mount!
Cornier has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Cornier covers up after that shot from Rinaldi.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Rinaldi controlling the positon.
Rinaldi has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Cornier! Can he survive? No! He's out! Rinaldi gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Gustav Rinaldi!
