Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Arnold (ranked 8531 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuya Nakamoto (ranked 7134 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matthew Arnold! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Katsuya Nakamoto! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamoto misses with a kick to the body and Arnold counters with a shoot takedown. Nakamoto fights it but they end up in guard. Nakamoto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Arnold lands a couple of elbows. Arnold really is a fat lump. Nakamoto working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Arnold. Arnold postures up and lands a big shot to Nakamoto's brow. Arnold cracks Nakamoto with a solid left hand. Arnold stands up over Nakamoto, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nakamoto utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Arnold accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Arnold missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Arnold cracks Nakamoto with a solid left hand. Arnold gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Nakamoto moves to clinch but Arnold breaks away and Arnold counters with a nice double leg into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Arnold not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Arnold gets to his feet - Nakamoto follows without any prompting. Nakamoto looks to clinch and Arnold counters with a single leg into guard. Nakamoto didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arnold is looking to work some ground and pound but Nakamoto has wrist control. Arnold works over Nakamoto with some ground and pound from guard. Arnold decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nakamoto, up you get! Arnold rushes Nakamoto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Nakamoto wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Arnold has him pressed against the cage. Arnold pulls guard. Arnold manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nakamoto manages to get himself to full guard.
Arnold gets to his feet - Nakamoto follows without any prompting. Arnold swats away the attempt to clinch by Nakamoto. Nakamoto darts in trying to clinch and Arnold counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Nakamoto!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arnold working away. Arnold has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Arnold swats away the attempt to clinch by Nakamoto. Arnold appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Nakamoto throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Arnold counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Arnold is trying for a kimura here. Nakamoto looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Arnold wins by kimura!
