Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jericho Hill (ranked 173 p4p, 26 weight class) and Remi Highjack (ranked 211 p4p, 30 weight class). Highjack is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Iron Maiden - Run to the hills. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hill is looking to wear down Highjack with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Hill bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Highjack's head backwards.

Highjack has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Highjack does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

A close round but Remi Highjack will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hill is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Hill lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Highjack thuds his right hand into Hill's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
