The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cross tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Starman is in Cross's guard.

Cross shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Starman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cross must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's time! Starman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Cross wants to clinch.
Starman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Starman is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cross is trying to escape and Starman transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cross is forced to tap! Nice work there by Starman! Very nice indeed!
