McHughes's entrance music is Welcome To My Hood. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHughes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Caans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
McHughes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Caan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Caan tries to clinch but McHughes moves out of range.
McHughes feints and then cracks Caan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Caan down.
McHughes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Caan.
Caan lands with a shot to the body.
Caan blocks a low kick nicely.
McHughes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Caan throws a shot from downtown. McHughes moves away and avoids it.
McHughes keeps the fight on the outside.
McHughes wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Caan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
McHughes looks to score with a jab to the body but Caan is just out of range.
Caan tries to counter by closing the distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Caan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Caan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McHughes takes a swing at Caan's ribcage but misses.
McHughes will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Caan lands a jab.

Caan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Caan avoids the body shot from McHughes.
McHughes sets himself, and Caan steps forward looking for the clinch! McHughes avoids it this time.
McHughes looks to throw the jab but Caan is out of range.
McHughes tries to work over Caan's front leg with a kick but Caan checks it.

Caan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McHughes's head backwards.
Caan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Caan tries to counter by closing the distance.

Caan moves out of range as McHughes strikes.
McHughes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Caan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Caan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McHughes's head.
McHughes throws a leg kick that misses.
We've been hearing reports that McHughes has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Caan blocks a head kick by McHughes.
Caan lands a nice hook to McHughes's body. McHughes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
McHughes is breathing heavily.
McHughes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Caan lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens McHughes up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Caan from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw McHughes's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
