Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rafinha Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantine Savelyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flores comes to the cage accompanied by Sail - Armin Van Buuren. Konstantine Savelyev will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Konstantine Savelyev! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savelyev drops his shoulder and cracks Flores with a huge uppercut! Flores goes down! Can Savelyev finish him?
Flores is rocked!
It looks like Rafinha Flores has been cut. Savelyev passes into half guard. Oh Flores is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Savelyev has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Savelyev blocks Flores's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Flores seems to have got his legs back now. Savelyev wants to control but Flores is keeping him busy. Savelyev is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Flores sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savelyev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flores keeps working. It looks like Savelyev is going to stand back up.
Flores is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Savelyev is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Flores looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Flores lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Flores knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savelyev on the ground. Flores slips a nice elbow through Savelyev's hands, connecting with Savelyev's forehead. Savelyev moves into full guard.
Flores has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Flores wants to control from the top but Savelyev keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Flores accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Savelyev is on top in guard.

Savelyev digs a good body shot into Flores's ribs. Flores shoots in and bounces Savelyev off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Savelyev looking for a guillotine here but Flores defends easily.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Savelyev holds on and takes a little breather. Flores trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Savelyev has control of Flores's left arm, preventing Flores from doing any damage. Savelyev wants to stand up but Flores is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Savelyev working for a triangle but Flores defends it easily.

Savelyev quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Flores has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Savelyev celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
