Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xing Pugberg (ranked 2660 p4p, 291 weight class) and Willie McCoy (ranked 2680 p4p, 293 weight class). McCoy has chosen Big Iron as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Xing Pugberg has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Xing Pugberg seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugberg takes a swing at McCoy's ribcage but misses.
A countering left hand to the body from McCoy misses.
McCoy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pugberg swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McCoy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pugberg throws out the jab.
McCoy throws a right and a left that Pugberg avoids nicely.
Pugberg scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
McCoy sneaks back into half guard.
Pugberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but McCoy keeps working.
Pugberg is trying to work for a kimura but McCoy is defending well.
Pugberg is working for a submission of some sort.
McCoy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

McCoy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
McCoy is trying to control the position but Pugberg postures up.
Pugberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCoy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McCoy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McCoy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pugberg is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

McCoy is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pugberg is working hard here to advance position.
McCoy has control of Pugberg's left arm, preventing Pugberg from doing any damage.
McCoy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Pugberg wants to pass the guard but McCoy is keeping the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McCoy throws a hook but Pugberg blocks it.
McCoy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McCoy gets caught napping as Pugberg dives in and scores a takedown. McCoy manages to retain guard.
McCoy is looking to stand up but Pugberg isn't so interested in that idea.

Pugberg trying to control the position from guard on top but McCoy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McCoy seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Pugberg drops back, looking for a kneebar! McCoy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McCoy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McCoy!
Pugberg is trying to improve his position.
You can see the frustration on Pugberg's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pugberg has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
McCoy working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCoy throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Pugberg tries to improve position but can't.
McCoy has hold of Pugberg's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pugberg seems comfortable defending it but McCoy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pugberg is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pugberg is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but McCoy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
