Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Swarner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davies has chosen waaaaaaaaaaaaaa as his entrance music. Scott Davies has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Swarner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Davies! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davies gets a takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Davies seems content to control. Swarner works his way to full guard. Good work. Davies trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Swarner had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Davies is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Swarner Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Davies's back instead. Davies trying to control the position but Swarner manages to sink in the hooks. Davies is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Swarner is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Davies defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Swarner has the hooks in. Davies is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Swarner is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Davies knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Davies for a finish. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Swarner trying to control momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davies wants to escape the position.
Davies is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Davies trying to control the action but Swarner just sinks the hooks in. Swarner is hanging on to Davies's back as he tries to escape.
Swarner doesn't have the hooks in and Davies manages to turn into his guard.
Davies thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Davies looks gassed!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Swarner scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Swarner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Davies doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Swarner. Swarner not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swarner works his way into side control. Swarner happy to just control the position for now. Swarner throws an elbow but Davies slips to the side and avoids it well. Swarner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Davies, who protects the arm well. Davies tries to bench press Swarner off him but Swarner keeps the position. Swarner throws an elbow but Davies slips to the side and avoids it well. Davies striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Swarner tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Davies tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Swarner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swarner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Swarner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Swarner is working to tighten is grip on Davies's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Davies has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Swarner is really squeezing tight and eventually Davies passes out! Swarner breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
