Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alvey Kulina (ranked 3678 p4p, 423 weight class) and Noam Dar (ranked 7495 p4p, 656 weight class). Noam Dar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alvey Kulina! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Noam Dar! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kulina throws out a powerful jab. Kulina scores with a decent looking hook. Dar shoots and misses and Kulina counters with a nice uppercut. Dar fails with the takedown and Kulina counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dar doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kulina counters with a stiff right hand. Alvey Kulina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noam Dar. Kulina throws a body kick that misses and Dar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kulina looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dar is one step ahead there. Kulina wants to stand and escape but Dar is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kulina wants to sweep here but Dar controlling him for the moment. Kulina is adopting a defensive guard. Dar wants to pass the guard but Kulina is keeping the position. Dar wants to control from the top but Kulina keeps moving. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kulina has Dar pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kulina's waist but Kulina gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dar off to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dar has his takedown stuffed and Kulina counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kulina dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A left and a right from Kulina both land. Nice combination. Nice sprawl there from Kulina as Dar shoots in. Kulina scores with a three punch combo!
Kulina scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Dar closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Dar shoots and misses and Kulina counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kulina is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Dar looks winded! Dar tries for a takedown but Kulina circles away easily enabling Kulina to counter with a crisp jab. Dar fails with the takedown and Kulina counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kulina pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dar back to the cage. Kulina follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Kulina lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A lazy left from Kulina finds it's target. Kulina throws a push kick but Dar slaps the foot to one side. Kulina scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kulina takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Alvey Kulina is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dar tries to move into range but Kulina moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Dar shoots in but no luck this time. Dar misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kulina throws a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kulina bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Dar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kulina as he avoids it easily. Kulina is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Kulina is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kulina connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dar momentarily.
We've been told by Kulina's head coaches at Navy Street MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kulina throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kulina scores with a nice right hand.
Kulina lands a right hook to the body.
Dar walks into a left hand. Kulina scores with a body shot.
Kulina lands a big head kick that sends Dar tumbling to the mat! Kulina takes a step backwards and waves Dar back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Dar is rocked! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kulina. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alvey Kulina dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kulina counters with a straight right hand. Dar is still on wobbly legs! Can Kulina finish him? Kulina lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Dar seems to have recovered his senses. Kulina circles away from the clinch attempt and Kulina cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kulina lands a jab-cross combination. Dar shoots and misses and Kulina counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Alvey Kulina is winning the standup battle so far. Dar gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Dar on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dar looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kulina lands with a hook. Dar tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Noam Dar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kulina leaves Dar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Alvey Kulina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noam Dar. Dar is breathing heavily. A jab from Kulina finds it's way through Dar's defenses. Kulina scores with the left hand. Dar knows he should have avoided that one. Dar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dar fails to land the takedown. Dar walks into a straight right hand from Kulina.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kulina scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kulina is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kulina scores with a jab to the jaw. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kulina lands a big right hand that sends Dar crashing to the mat! Kulina stays standing though and waves Dar back to his feet! It's a brutal combination of punches from Kulina! Dar is backing up but he can't get away as Kulina lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Dar and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Alvey Kulina! Alvey Kulina very nearly forgot to thank Freebok (85% Laundry) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
