Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rokurou Kyo (ranked 1707 p4p, 213 weight class) and Ed ONeill (ranked 4183 p4p, 447 weight class). Rokurou Kyo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rokurou Kyo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ed ONeill! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kyo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. ONeill shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kyo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. ONeill sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kyo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kyo misses with a wild body shot. A slow jab from Kyo misses its intended target. Kyo throws an overhand right that lands on ONeill's shoulder, as ONeill tries to avoid the shot. Kyo throws a poor cross that misses
and ONeill counters with a left to the body. Kyo connects with a right hand. ONeill shakes it off. A big left from Kyo misses. A swing and a miss from Kyo. ONeill jabbing away but nothing is landing. ONeill lands a lovely overhand right. Kyo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. ONeill looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kyo slips under a jab. Kyo throwing a counter right hand but ONeill manages to avoid it. Kyo misses with a hook
and ONeill counters with a stiff right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kyo throws a lazy uppercut
and ONeill counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kyo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. ONeill misses with a hook. Kyo ducked under it nicely. ONeill moves out of range as Kyo strikes. ONeill let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyo ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kyo digs a good hook to ONeill's body.
Kyo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from ONeill.
A punch combination from Kyo misses. Kyo slips under a jab from ONeill. A jab from Kyo misses. A nice side step and ONeill releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. ONeill drops his hands momentarily and Kyo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kyo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by ONeill. Kyo looks to score with a jab to the body but ONeill is just out of range. ONeill throws out a loose jab but Kyo uses good head movement to avoid it. Rokurou Kyo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. ONeill misses the jab. ONeill takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kyo misses with a hook. ONeill ducked under it nicely. ONeill takes a shot right to the bread basket. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. ONeill decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. ONeill is looking to take a break and control but Kyo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. ONeill is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. ONeill sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kyo looks like he's trying to stand up.
ONeill looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kyo wants to get back to full guard. ONeill thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kyo's head. ONeill trying to control from half guard but Kyo is working away. ONeill is working for a submission of some sort.
ONeill wants to control but Kyo is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. ONeill is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kyo defends it well. ONeill has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kyo defend it? ONeill steps over the head and cranks it - Kyo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for ONeill!
