Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Feltre (ranked 218 p4p, 26 weight class) and Tony Ramos (ranked 282 p4p, 33 weight class). Feltre comes to the cage accompanied by Someday Never Comes. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Felipe Feltre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Ramos !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos closes the distance and clinches up with Feltre, looking for a takedown. Ramos pushes Feltre against the cage but Feltre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Feltre dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ramos jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tony Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ramos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ramos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Feltre tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ramos wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Feltre wants to control but Ramos postures up.
Feltre is looking to reverse the position.
Ramos cracks Feltre with a big elbow.
Ramos lands an elbow.
Ramos landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Feltre is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ramos wants to control but Feltre is keeping him busy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ramos grinds an elbow into Feltre's temple.
Ramos looks up at the clock and then as Feltre takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ramos smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Feltre is trying to control but can't.
Feltre has hold of Ramos 's hands but Ramos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Feltre wants to control but Ramos is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Feltre makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Feltre.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Feltre keeping moving, preventing Ramos from controlling successfully.
Ramos throws a big right hand that misses.
Feltre has momentary wrist control but Ramos slips an elbow through the middle.

Feltre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ramos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ramos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

You can see the frustration on Feltre's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ramos scores with a couple of short elbows.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramos lands a decent elbow from side control.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Ramos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Feltre's head.
Ramos moves to clinch but Feltre breaks away
and Feltre counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Feltre looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ramos lands a nice looking body shot.
Ramos avoids a kick to the body.
Feltre throws a body shot but no joy.
Ramos pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ramos moves out of range of the body kick from Feltre.
Ramos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Feltre manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Feltre wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Ramos cracks Feltre with an open hand slap.
Feltre pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ramos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ramos misses with a looping left.
Ramos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Feltre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ramos scores with a jab to the jaw.

Ramos throws the left hand but Feltre avoids the punch easily.
Feltre seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Feltre takes a swing at Ramos 's ribcage but misses.
Feltre fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A jab from Ramos finds it's way through Feltre's defenses.
Feltre is looking to wear down Ramos with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ramos darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ramos bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


Feltre is rocked!
Ramos might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Ramos lands with a straight right. Feltre didn't see that one coming.
Oh Feltre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Feltre takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Feltre tries to sprawl but Ramos drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Feltre wants to get back to full guard.
Feltre trying to hold on to Ramos 's head to control him but Ramos postures up.
Feltre seems to have got his legs back now.
Feltre is looking to improve his position.

Ramos trying to mount his opponent but Feltre defends it.
Feltre is trying to maintain the position but Ramos is very close to passing his half guard.
Ramos is nestled in close to Feltre, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ramos uses his free foot to push down on Feltre's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Feltre.

Feltre is in a horrible position here. Ramos smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ramos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Feltre gets back to full guard.
Ramos is working Feltre over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Tony Ramos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Feltre's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Ramos wants to clinch up but Feltre keeps it at a distance.
Ramos darts in looking for a takedown but Feltre gets double underhooks and turns Ramos into the cage.
Feltre throws a big counter combination but Ramos scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Tony Ramos seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Feltre throws a head kick that Ramos semi-blocks.
Feltre keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ramos .
Ramos stuns Feltre with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Feltre doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Ramos forces Feltre back against the cage and clinches.
Feltre is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ramos to keep the fight standing.
Feltre tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Ramos has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Feltre regains guard immediately.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ramos not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ramos chips away with some ground and pound.
Ramos wants to control from the top but Feltre keeps moving.
Ramos tries to free his leg and advance position but Feltre is retaining full guard.
Tony Ramos has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ramos trying to control the position from guard on top but Feltre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ramos with a flurry of punches that miss.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ramos working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Feltre looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Felipe Feltre has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ramos is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Feltre has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ramos is looking to defend but Feltre has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ramos ! Feltre pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ramos taps out and this one is all over!
