Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Dassler (ranked 512 p4p, 80 weight class) and Pikey Chav (ranked 312 p4p, 51 weight class). Chav is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Shamrock. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudi Dassler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pikey Chav! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chav misses with a wild body shot. Dassler changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Chav misses with a body kick. Chav misses with a looping left. Dassler slips a straight right by Chav. Dassler attempts a counter takedown but Chav avoids it well and moves away. Dassler looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Chav throws a push kick but Dassler slaps the foot to one side. Chav looks to score with a jab to the body but Dassler is just out of range. Dassler fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chav dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dassler checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Chav fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dassler takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dassler half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Nice sprawl there from Chav as Dassler shoots in. Chav appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rudi Dassler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chav swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chav gets off balance looking for a body kick and Dassler counters with a takedown into side control. Dassler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dassler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The strikes coming from Dassler are missing the target in this wave of attacks. That's two minutes gone in the round. Chav is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dassler has just dragged him back down to the mat. Chav tries to bench press Dassler off him but Dassler keeps the position. Dassler goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Chav has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dassler but great work by Chav. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dassler is not content to let Chav control the position. Dassler is trying to improve his position. Chav looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dassler is avoiding damage well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chav connects with a nice short shot to Dassler's temple. Chav is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Dassler looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chav is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Dassler tries to roll over but Chav keeps him under control. Chav missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Dassler is looking for a sweep. Chav seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Chav is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Pikey Chav dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dassler tries to clinch but Chav is having none of it. Chav has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chav throws a body punch but Dassler moves out of range. Chav misses with a low kick.

Chav has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dassler working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dassler swings around for an armbar but Chav sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dassler's guard. Dassler looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chav lands a couple of decent looking shots.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chav controls from within his opponent's guard. Pikey Chav has got the better of the ground game so far. Chav throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dassler works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dassler is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Dassler is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Dassler is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Chav is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chav trying to control the position from guard on top but Dassler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chav won't allow Dassler to sweep him here. Chav pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dassler is keeping the position for now. Dassler is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Chav rolls with it to try and escape but Dassler cranks on the arm and Chav is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
