Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Roller (ranked 2482 p4p, 262 weight class) and Akamu Kalani (ranked 3351 p4p, 336 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rick Roller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Akamu Kalani!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roller throws a right hand that misses
letting Kalani counter with a right hand.
It looks like Rick Roller has been cut.
Kalani thuds a left hand into Roller's body.
Roller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Roller lunges at Kalani with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kalani's hand.
Roller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kalani now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kalani moves out of range of the strikes.
Roller misses with a right hand
and Kalani counters with a left to the body.
Kalani changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Kalani.
Kalani pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Roller back to the cage. Kalani follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Roller is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Roller drops his hands momentarily and Kalani takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kalani throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Roller.
Kalani lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roller at a distance.
Roller on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A jab from Kalani does it's job there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kalani measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Roller! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Akamu Kalani!
Akamu Kalani tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
