Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cu Cuchulain!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuchulain throws a series of punches but Ripgut moves out of range.
Ripgut appears to be looking for a big counter.
Cuchulain will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
It looked like Ripgut was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Cuchulain swinging wildly here.
Cuchulain misses with a looping right.
Ripgut lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Ripgut keeps the fight on the outside.
Ripgut swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Cuchulain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ripgut.
Cuchulain connects with a jab.
Ripgut uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cuchulain.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A combination from Cuchulain does no damage.
Cuchulain looks to land a combination but Ripgut avoids it well.
Ripgut checks the leg kick.
Ripgut swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ripgut ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ripgut appears to be looking for a big counter.
Cu Cuchulain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cuchulain fails to land with a series of punches.
A low kick from Cuchulain misses

and Ripgut counters with a nice right hand that sends Cuchulain toppling to the canvas! Cuchulain scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ripgut finish him?!


It looks like Cu Cuchulain has been cut.
Ripgut keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Ripgut went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Cuchulain tries to work over Ripgut's front leg with a kick but Ripgut checks it.
Cuchulain misses with a few strikes there.
Cuchulain just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromRipgut.
Cuchulain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ripgut counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Cuchulain falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
