Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Watin Qary (ranked 8447 p4p, 475 weight class) and Xaito Siu (ranked 25990 p4p, 548 weight class). Watin Qary looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Watin Qary!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xaito Siu!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siu blocks a head kick by Qary.
Siu drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Qary defends it well.
Qary looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Qary looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Qary avoids a punch combination nicely.

Qary looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Siu is fending him off so far but Qary persists. Nope, Siu circles away and we're back to standing.

Siu shoots in looking for a takedown. Qary tries to sprawl out of it but Siu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Qary manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Qary counters with a shoot takedown. Siu fights it but they end up in guard.

Siu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Qary sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Siu somewhat.

Siu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Siu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Qary tries to avoid it but Siu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Qary to the ground. Qary escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Qary decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Siu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Qary is working for takedown but Siu is calmly controlling the position for now.
Siu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Qary uses from the top position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Siu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Watin Qary is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

I would just about give that final round to Xaito Siu.
I think Qary has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
