Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 20 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gaudencio Roman!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman feints and then cracks Eugemia's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Eugemia down.
Roman dips to his left and cracks Eugemia with an uppercut!
Eugemia closes the distance and clinches.
Eugemia blocking some punches.
Roman is looking for a takedown.
Roman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Roman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Roman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Eugemia lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eugemia wanted to stand there but Roman had control of the position.
Eugemia has gone for a leg lock! Roman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Eugemia's guard.

Eugemia is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Roman frees his head nicely. Oh but Eugemia has switched to an armbar! Roman is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

A relieved looking John Eugemia thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
