Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin McLauhglin (ranked 652 p4p, 30 weight class) and Tank Shamrock (ranked 824 p4p, 21 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tank Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock rushes McLauhglin and presses him up against the cage. Shamrock cracks McLauhglin with a nice body shot. McLauhglin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shamrock smiles and moves away.

We've been informed that Shamrock has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. McLauhglin pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Shamrock lands a hook that snaps the head of McLauhglin backwards. Shamrock lands with a short punch from the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shamrock lands with a light punch inside. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Shamrock is looking to clinch. and McLauhglin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Shamrock keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McLauhglin. McLauhglin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McLauhglin not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That has opened up Tank Shamrock's cut even more. Shamrock wants to improve his position but McLauhglin is controlling well.

That was a close round but I would say that Colin McLauhglin will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tank Shamrock's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Colin McLauhglin! In his post fight interview, Colin McLauhglin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
