Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Xaiver Stewart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christoph Le Eskine!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le Eskine shoots in and drives through. Stewart sprawls well.
Stewart swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Le Eskine counters with a shoot takedown. Stewart fights it but they end up in guard.

Stewart has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Le Eskine off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Stewart throws a right and a left that Le Eskine avoids nicely.
Stewart misses with a series of wild punches.
Stewart throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Le Eskine counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Le Eskine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stewart is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Le Eskine is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Le Eskine might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Le Eskine shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stewart's guard.

Stewart knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Le Eskine on the ground.

Le Eskine tries to free his leg and advance position but Stewart is retaining full guard.
Le Eskine pushes down on Stewart's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Le Eskine works his way into full mount!
Stewart is breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stewart has given up his back. Will we see Le Eskine going for some submissions?

Le Eskine has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Stewart! Can he survive? No! He's out! Le Eskine gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Christoph Le Eskine!
