Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anirion Kale (ranked 6221 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vatli Drago (ranked 25153 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anirion Kale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vatli Drago! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kale tries to clinch but Drago moves away and Drago counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kale is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kale misses with a wild combination.
Drago throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kale is looking to counter with head kicks. Kale moves into the clinch. Drago jumps guard.
Kale lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kale slips nicely into half guard. Kale looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drago on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Drago looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Kale seems content to control. Kale looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Drago wants to get back to his feet. Drago wants to control but Kale is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Drago has his foot on Kale's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kale works his way back into a safe position though. Drago is trying to hold Kale in close to prevent damage but Kale has managed to pass into half guard.

Kale wants to stand but Drago has his arm trapped. Kale slows the pace down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kale working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. You can see the frustration on Drago's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kale controls the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kale shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Drago counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kale looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drago misses with a two punch combination.
A punch combination from Kale misses. A combination from Kale does no damage. Drago bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kale tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Kale is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kale wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kale is keeping busy.
Drago looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Kale is controlling Drago 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kale keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kale is looking to clinch. Kale avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Drago blocks a head kick by Kale.
Drago rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kale moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kale fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Drago avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drago keeps the fight on the outside. Drago dives in for a single leg takedown but Kale sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kale attempts a counter takedown but Drago avoids it well and moves away. Kale feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Drago is trying to keep Kale in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kale stopping the sweep attempt from Drago. Kale wants to pass the guard but Drago is keeping the position. Drago working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kale tries to stand but Drago is controlling from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kale shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Drago napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kale tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Drago is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kale has control of an arm but Drago manages to advance to Kale's back! Kale is trying to stand back up. Drago is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kale wants to get back to his feet. Drago trying to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drago is trying to stick to Kale's back but Kale is turning into Drago. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Drago's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kale. Drago is trying to control the position but Kale postures up. Kale has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Drago is proving hard to escape from. Kale content to stall in guard here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Drago looking for a sweep. Not yet Drago, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Anirion Kale will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Kale takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Drago is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kale sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drago. Kale misses the shot to the body. Kale moves into the clinch. Drago is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kale to keep the fight standing. Anirion Kale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vatli Drago. Kale wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Drago has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drago is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Kale is looking to take this one to the mat. Drago is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kale is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Drago is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kale not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kale's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Drago wants to hit a switch here but Kale passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Drago there! Kale is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Drago can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kale goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Drago is on top in guard.
Drago trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Drago is fighting to break Kale's control of his arms but Kale is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kale wants to get back to his feet but Drago is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kale is looking for a triangle but Drago pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drago sitting in guard, not really doing much. Drago keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kale's head. Kale looking for a guillotine here but Drago defends easily.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anirion Kale. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kale, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
