Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Borys Hund!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Watkins!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hund darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Watkins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hund wants to control but Watkins is keeping him busy.
Watkins regains full guard. Nicely done.
Hund controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hund got a little sloppy there for a moment and Watkins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hund has managed to get both his arms back between Watkins's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hund not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Watkins is on top in guard.
Hund looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Watkins postures up in Hund's guard and throws a big left but Hund blocks it.
Watkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hund looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Watkins is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hund has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Watkins is looking to defend but Hund has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Watkins! Hund pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Watkins taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Borys Hund!
