Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conoe McGregor (ranked 6204 p4p, 571 weight class) and Jimmy Hendrix (ranked 6203 p4p, 570 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conoe McGregor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Hendrix! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGregor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hendrix defends well and McGregor ends up having to push Hendrix into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Hendrix tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McGregor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McGregor appears to be looking for a big counter. McGregor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hendrix is fending him off so far but McGregor persists. Nope, Hendrix circles away and we're back to standing. Hendrix shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGregor but McGregor pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hendrix doesn't succeed with the takedown and McGregor counters by moving into the clinch. Hendrix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A head kick misses from Hendrix. McGregor closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGregor has Hendrix pushed against the cage. McGregor is stalling here.

That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Hendrix is defending well against a takedown attempt. McGregor is trying to drag Hendrix to the mat but Hendrix just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. McGregor prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hendrix jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McGregor walks away with a smile on his face. Hendrix gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Hendrix pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hendrix lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGregor circles away quickly and effectively. Hendrix takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hendrix tries to close the distance and clinch but McGregor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hendrix displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McGregor. Nice sprawl there from Hendrix as McGregor shoots in. Hendrix keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McGregor shoots in for a takedown but Hendrix shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. McGregor is breathing heavily. McGregor moves in looking to clinch but Hendrix pushes him off. McGregor fails with the takedown and McGregor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. McGregor tries a head kick but it misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McGregor taking a breather. Hendrix is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McGregor to keep the fight standing. McGregor tries to pull guard but Hendrix holds him up against the cage and eventually McGregor drops back down to his feet.

McGregor stops Hendrix from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hendrix is looking to stand back up but McGregor counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hendrix. McGregor is controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hendrix on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. McGregor drops an elbow to the side of Hendrix's head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McGregor is trying to work for a kimura but Hendrix is defending well.

A close round but Jimmy Hendrix will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

He's got his arms around Hendrix's waist but Hendrix gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McGregor off to one side. McGregor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hendrix looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. McGregor throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. McGregor fails with a takedown attempt. McGregor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jimmy Hendrix seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGregor forces Hendrix back against the cage and clinches. Hendrix is looking for a takedown. Hendrix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

McGregor could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McGregor is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hendrix pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conoe McGregor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hendrix taking a breather. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hendrix takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hendrix continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Hendrix is breathing heavily. Hendrix tries to pull guard but McGregor holds him up against the cage and eventually Hendrix drops back down to his feet.
Hendrix is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but McGregor is defending well. McGregor can't break the clinch.

Hendrix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGregor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hendrix is fighting to break McGregor's control of his arms but McGregor is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Hendrix trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McGregor looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McGregor manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGregor fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McGregor instigates a clinch. McGregor looking to throw knees to the head but Hendrix is blocking nicely.

McGregor has Hendrix pulled in close to control his posture. Hendrix trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but McGregor manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! McGregor forces his way into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGregor is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. McGregor works his way into full mount! McGregor lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
McGregor is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hendrix is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hendrix flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. McGregor anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hendrix and secures both hooks! This could be bad! McGregor slips an arm under Hendrix chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McGregor has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McGregor is squeezing on Hendrix like an anaconda would it's prey. Hendrix fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
