Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Bullock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Mckay!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckay misses with a takedown attempt
and Bullock counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mckay.
Bullock tries to counter with a takedown but Mckay is quick to defend against it.

Bullock moves into the clinch successfully.
Mckay changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bullock fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pete Bullock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Mckay.

Mckay throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bullock was covering up waiting for the punch and Mckay finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bullock not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Mckay prevents Bullock from getting back to his feet.

Mckay is looking to take a break and control but Bullock is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mckay is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bullock reverses the position - he's now on top in Mckay's guard.
Bullock wants to stand but Mckay is controlling his posture from full guard.

Bullock decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mckay, up you get!

Bullock tries to sprawl but Mckay drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Mckay landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Mckay takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Mckay seems to be working for a kimura but Bullock defends the submission attempt.
Bullock tries to roll over but Mckay keeps him under control.

Mckay is working for a submission of some sort.
Mckay looks winded!

Bullock looking for submissions off his back.
Bullock regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mckay.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mckay won't allow Bullock to sweep him here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Richard Mckay will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Mckay tries for a takedown but Bullock circles away easily

and Bullock counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mckay wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bullock is now in half guard.

Bullock is looking for a kimura but Mckay is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bullock to get the leverage.
Bullock wants to stand up but Mckay manages to regain full guard.
Bullock wants to get up but he can't break Mckay's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mckay working for a triangle but Bullock defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bullock wanted to stand there but Mckay had control of the position.

Mckay looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mckay looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bullock's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bullock trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mckay's guard.
Bullock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mckay works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bullock has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mckay is proving hard to escape from.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Mckay shoots in but Bullock avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mckay wants to clinch.

Bullock closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mckay to the mat! Mckay manages to get full guard.

Bullock wants to stand but Mckay is controlling his posture from full guard.
Mckay looking to control.
Bullock wants to stand and escape but instead Mckay has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Bullock keeping moving, preventing Mckay from controlling successfully.
Bullock trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bullock is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mckay should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bullock not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mckay looking to sit in guard and control but Bullock gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bullock lands a couple of elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pete Bullock dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Mckay shoots in looking for a takedown but Bullock manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mckay's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mckay manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Bullock escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mckay shoots in and gets a takedown into Bullock's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bullock has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mckay is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bullock.

Mckay wants to control for a moment but Bullock uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Mckay is looking to pass Bullock's guard but actually Bullock recovers to full guard.

Mckay stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Bullock throws up his legs and catches Mckay in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Mckay tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Bullock! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Pete Bullock!
