Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mace Mullins (ranked 6187 p4p, 426 weight class) and Steve Henley (ranked 7096 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mace Mullins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Henley! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Henley is defended easily by Mullins. Henley has a takedown stuffed. Nice takedown defense from Mullins. No joy for Henley on that attempt. Mace Mullins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Henley. Mullins clinches. Mullins manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Mullins throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Henley passes Mullins's left leg - he's now in half guard. Mullins flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in half guard, Henley seems content to control. Mullins scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Henley manages to mount him!

Mullins is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Henley punching from mount but Mullins doing a good job of avoiding damage. Mullins squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Henley controlling the pace for now. Henley won't let Mullins get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Henley tries to control but Mullins wriggling away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mullins tries to lock up and control but Henley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Henley controlling the position easily from mount. Mullins is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Henley connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mullins is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Henley off. It looks like it's working - Henley slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Mullins displaying calm under pressure there. Henley gets tackled into the cage by Mullins. Mullins maintains the clinch. Mullins jumps guard and drags Henley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Mullins is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Henley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mullins's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Henley prevents Mullins from standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Henley in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Henley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Mullins tries to circle away but Henley has him pinned against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Henley fails to land. Mullins digs a right hand into Henley's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Henley's gas tank. Mullins breaks from the clinch.
Mullins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mullins wants it to stay on the feet. Mullins throwing a counter right hand but Henley manages to avoid it. Mace Mullins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Henley. Mullins fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Henley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Henley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sloppy strikes from Mullins. Those never looked like landing. Mullins gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mullins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mullins lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mullins moves into the clinch.

Henley shoots in looking for a takedown. Mullins tries to sprawl out of it but Henley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mullins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. No luck with that takedown attempt from Henley. Henley dives in and grabs Mullins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mullins pushes down on Henley's head and hops out. Nice takedown defense from Mullins. No joy for Henley on that attempt. Henley takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mullins lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mullins. Henley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Mullins lands with a shot to the body. Henley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mullins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Henley. Henley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mullins napping and manages to drive through into side control! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mullins pushes Henley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Henley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Mullins tries to control but Henley manages to take his back. Mullins trying to get back to his feet but Henley is in full control for now. Henley tries to keep control of the position but Mullins is staying busy. Steve Henley has got the better of the ground game so far.

Henley is looking for the choke from the back position but Mullins is controlling his hands well. Mace Mullins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mullins trying to control the hands but Henley won't let him. Henley working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Mullins is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Henley has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Mullins taps out!
