Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Valur (ranked 3652 p4p, 401 weight class) and Donall Doyle (ranked 22548 p4p, 719 weight class). Valur's entrance music is David Bowie - Let's Dance. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valur changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Doyle tries to avoid it but Valur manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Doyle to the ground. Doyle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Valur shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Despite the aggression on Doyle's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Valur drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Doyle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Valur stops Doyle from standing up.
Doyle keeping moving, preventing Valur from controlling successfully.
Valur trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Valur pushing down on Doyle's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Valur decides to return to a standing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valur fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Doyle to the ground. Valur is now in Doyle's guard.
Valur is pushing down on Doyle's leg trying to pass to half guard. Doyle is fighting to maintain full guard but Valur has managed to sneak the leg through.
Valur maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Doyle could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Valur has cracked it and Doyle is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Valur!
