Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brady Patton (ranked 25415 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jani Suutari (ranked 5952 p4p, 585 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suutari with a lazy takedown attempt

and Patton counters with a single leg into guard. Suutari didn't expect that.
Suutari can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Patton controls the pace.
Suutari avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Patton stands up from Suutari's guard - Patton perhaps looking for a knockout.
Suutari has a takedown stuffed.
Patton throws a big counter combination but Suutari scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Suutari fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Brady Patton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jani Suutari.
Suutari shoots in but no luck this time.

Patton has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patton prevents a takedown attempt there.

Patton drags the fight down to the ground.
Suutari throws an elbow that misses. Patton uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Suutari's guard. Nice move by Patton!

Suutari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Patton postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Suutari is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Patton, into his guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Suutari wants to control from the top but Patton keeps moving.
Patton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Suutari must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Suutari wants to get up but he can't break Patton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Suutari not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Patton is on top in guard.

Patton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Suutari's head.

Patton drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Patton as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Suutari screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Patton! Nice submission victory there!
