Gontier comes to the cage accompanied by Three Days Grace - Never Too Late. The crowd seem to be enjoying Burmeister's choice of entrance music: Firebreather by Thrice. Burmeister slips under a jab.
Gontier drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gontier is trying to get an arm triangle but Burmeister is defending well.
Gontier wants to control but Burmeister is keeping him busy.
Gontier tries for a kimura but Burmeister is defending well.
Gontier is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Burmeister is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Gontier is trying to get an arm triangle but Burmeister is defending well.
Burmeister is not content to let Gontier control the position.

Gontier is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burmeister knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Burmeister tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gontier cranks the arm and Burmeister screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Burmeister, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
