The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakku connects with a right hand. Howlett shakes it off.
Howlett tries to sprawl but Jakku drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Howlett is trying to escape back to his feet but Jakku uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Jakku tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Howlett defends well and Jakku ends up having to push Howlett into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jakku lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Howlett counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Jakku badly! Howlett follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Jakku out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Howlett finished him against the cage.
