Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rear Breed (ranked 2813 p4p, 367 weight class) and Jeremiah Doucet (ranked 5102 p4p, 567 weight class). The key to victory for Rear Breed has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rear Breed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremiah Doucet! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Breed misses with a looping left. Doucet wants to counter the offense by Breed and move into the clinch position. Doucet looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Doucet takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Doucet displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Breed throws out the jab. Doucet looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Breed fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Doucet on the side of the head. Breed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doucet manages to avoid it. Doucet drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doucet fails with the takedown. Breed is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Breed has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Doucet fails with the takedown and Breed counters with a right hand to the body. Rear Breed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremiah Doucet. Breed throws a hook to the side of Doucet's head but Doucet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Breed's jab looks to have found its range, popping Doucet under the eye. Breed shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Doucet eats them both and turns towards Breed to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Doucet shoots in and drives through. Breed sprawls well. Breed scores with a shot to the body.

Doucet feints the counter takedown. Breed misses with an uppercut. Doucet saw that one coming. Doucet moves out of range of the strikes. Doucet is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Breed lands a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breed tries to clinch and Doucet counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Doucet thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Breed is controlling Doucet's trapped leg to prevent Doucet from advancing to side control. Breed is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Doucet scores with a couple of nice shots. Breed controlling the position well. The fighters are battling for position here. Breed manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Doucet drops back looking for a leg! Breed is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Breed manages to kick Doucet off! Doucet jumps back into Breed's guard. Doucet is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Breed seems keen to control Doucet's posture. Doucet looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doucet is fighting to break Breed's control of his arms but Breed is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Doucet throwing strikes but missing. Breed is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Breed continues to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Breed tries to land a sweep but no joy. Breed tries to strike from the bottom.
Doucet makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Breed lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Doucet wants to stand and escape but Breed is having none of it. Doucet is looking for a triangle but Breed pushes his legs off easily.

Breed is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Breed with a flurry of punches that miss. Breed controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Breed throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Breed is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Breed cracks Doucet with a solid left hand. Breed stays in close to Doucet's body and controls the position. Doucet preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rear Breed is winning the standup battle so far. Breed throws a lazy right hand but Doucet sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Breed scores with a jab to the jaw. Doucet ducks under a wild hook from Breed. Doucet ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Doucet drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Breed defends it well. Breed jabs at Doucet's body. Doucet misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Breed misses with a short punch on the inside. Breed swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Doucet has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Breed after a bit of a struggle. Breed tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Breed misses with a hook from the clinch. Doucet can't get the takedown.

Doucet tries to score a body lock takedown but Breed shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Breed gets underhooks to prevent Doucet's takedown attempt.

Breed lands a body punch. Doucet is breathing heavily. Breed lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Doucet backwards. Breed is leaning against Doucet and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Breed working aggressively here.

Doucet shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Doucet shoots in and drives through. Breed sprawls well. Breed bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Doucet slips under a jab. Doucet drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Breed defends it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doucet looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Breed throws a looping overhand right but Doucet ducks down to avoid it. Breed misses with a hook
so Doucet counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. This has been an exciting period of action! Breed has his hands on Doucet's head, controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Doucet accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Doucet postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Breed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Breed tries to get out of the position. Doucet loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Doucet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Breed swivels though and keeps the full guard. Breed is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Doucet is looking to work some ground and pound but Breed has wrist control. Breed has control of Doucet's left arm, preventing Doucet from doing any damage. Breed bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Doucet's guard. Breed is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Breed here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breed throwing strikes but missing. Doucet preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Breed controlling from the top position. Breed working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Breed trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Breed drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Breed jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Doucet being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breed is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Breed sitting in guard, not really doing much. Breed's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Rear Breed is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Doucet thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Breed sitting in guard here, content to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fighters circle momentarily. Breed darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Rear Breed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Breed throws an off balance right hand
and Doucet counters with a takedown into side control. Breed manages to get back to half guard. Breed has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Breed is controlling Doucet's trapped leg to prevent Doucet from advancing to side control. Jeremiah Doucet has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jeremiah Doucet has got the better of the ground game so far. Breed gets full guard. Breed seems keen to control Doucet's posture. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Breed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that's the end of the fight! Rear Breed showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Breed, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
