Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Bird (ranked 3022 p4p, 301 weight class) and Aiu BangYou (ranked 23994 p4p, 707 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BangYou shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bird eats them both and turns towards BangYou to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Bird ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bird no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bird is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! BangYou rolls with it to try and escape but Bird cranks on the arm and BangYou is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

A very excited looking Jake Bird rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
