Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Calvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Flow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flow has chosen Even Flow - Pearl Jam as his entrance music. Evan Flow will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flow throws a hook to the side of Calvin's head but Calvin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Calvin fails to land with a series of punches.
Flow shoots in but no luck this time. Calvin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Calvin misses with a double jab.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flow shoots for a double leg takedown but Calvin sprawls well. He's pushed Flow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flow slips a jab from Calvin. Flow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Theodore Calvin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Flow. Flow slips a straight right by Calvin. It looks like Evan Flow has been cut. Calvin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Calvin stuffs the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calvin tries to bum rush Flow with a series of wild strikes but Flow uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Flow misses with a takedown attempt - Calvin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Calvin misses with a few strikes there.
Flow has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Flow there as he acknowledges the shot. Calvin misses with a series of wild punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Flow shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Calvin but Calvin pushes him off and we're back to square one. A swing and a miss from Calvin. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A jab lands there for Calvin. Calvin misses with a straight right. Theodore Calvin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Flow tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Calvin swivels and escapes. Calvin throws a right hand that Flow ducks under and follows up with a left that Flow also avoids with ease. Calvin throws a hook but Flow avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flow avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Calvin has his takedown stuffed and Flow counters with a nice double leg into guard. Flow trying to control but Calvin is working from the bottom. Flow tries to free his leg and advance position but Calvin is retaining full guard. Flow sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Calvin's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Calvin is defending against the submission attempts here by Flow.

That was a close second round but I would say that Theodore Calvin will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Evan Flow's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

That has opened up Evan Flow's cut even more. Calvin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Flow sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flow slips a straight right by Calvin. Flow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Calvin is looking to stand up but Flow isn't so interested in that idea. Flow looking to pass the guard. Calvin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flow on the ground. Flow is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Flow drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Calvin dives on top into guard. Flow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Calvin passes Flow's left leg - he's now in half guard. Flow wants to improve his position but Calvin is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Calvin wants to pass the guard but Flow is defending well. Flow trying to control but Calvin postures up.

and Flow counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Theodore Calvin showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Calvin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
