Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
41 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
36 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raven Harris!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris fails to land the takedown.
Jordan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jordan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Harris's head backwards.
It looks like Raven Harris has been cut.
Harris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Harris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harris just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromJordan.
Harris throws a sloppy head kick and Jordan moves out of range easily.
Jordan throws a quick counter kick to the body but Harris avoids it.
Harris swings widly with a right hand
and Jordan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jordan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Harris changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jordan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Harris fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Harris bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jordan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harris moves away.
Harris looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Harris darts in looking for a takedown but Jordan gets double underhooks and turns Harris into the cage.
Joe Jordan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raven Harris.
Harris looks winded!
Harris doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jordan scores with a push kick.
Nice body kick there by Jordan.
Jordan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jordan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jordan keeps Harris at a distance using the push kick.
Harris gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Jordan gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Harris is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Jordan!
