The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwartz tries to clinch up but Kadyrev circles away and keeps his distance.
Kadyrev drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Schwartz is trying to control the position but Kadyrev postures up.
Kadyrev is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Schwartz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Schwartz uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kadyrev is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Schwartz's half guard.
Kadyrev is thwarting Schwartz's attempts to control the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kadyrev lands a nice short elbow.

Well, if Kadyrev is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Schwartz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Schwartz.
Schwartz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kadyrev trying to control but Schwartz is working from the bottom.
Kadyrev slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Schwartz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kadyrev's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Schwartz is sitting in close to Kadyrev's body. Kadyrev has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Schwartz is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Schwartz is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kadyrev.
