And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steamboat tries for a takedown but Coleman circles away easily
and Coleman counters with a stiff right hand.

Coleman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Coleman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Steamboat is looking for a sweep.
Steamboat taking punishment in the form of punches.
Coleman in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Coleman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steamboat keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steamboat tries to bench press Coleman off him but Coleman keeps the position.
Coleman lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Steamboat down.
Coleman advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steamboat is working to get back to half guard.

Coleman has control of Steamboat's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Steamboat regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Steamboat tries to reverse the position but Coleman maintains control.

Steamboat is desperately trying to improve his position but Coleman has a good base and remains in mount.
Coleman cracks Steamboat with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Coleman fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Steamboat keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Coleman is landing with some decent strikes but Steamboat is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Coleman pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Coleman lands a heavy elbow.
Coleman postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Steamboat looks a forlorn figure.

Coleman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Steamboat is desperately trying to improve his position but Coleman has a good base and remains in mount.
BOOM! Coleman connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Coleman lands a big shot there that rocks Steamboat but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Oh Steamboat is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Coleman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Steamboat's face.
Steamboat keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Coleman connects with a bit shot that sees Steamboat covering up! More strikes from Coleman and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Coleman is our winner by TKO!
