Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between rocky punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and heavy weight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for rocky punch has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, rocky punch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, heavy weight! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by punch or perhaps it was just good defense by weight which made him look bad. weight looking for a guillotine here but punch defends easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. punch postures up.
weight is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. punch looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. punch is breathing heavily. weight is looking to take a break and control but punch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. weight with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. weight drops an elbow to the side of punch's head. weight trying to control from half guard but punch is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. punch wants to get back to his feet. punch tries to roll over but weight keeps him under control. weight not doing much here.
punch moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. punch might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. weight decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. weight tries a head kick but it misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. weight fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with punch, pushing him back against the ropes. weight fails to pull the fight into his guard.
weight just leaning against punch, taking a breather. punch looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for rocky punch. That's going to take a lot out of him. A battle for position here, against the ropes.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. weight's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. punch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. weight avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
punch tries to close the distance and clinch but weight swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. weight tries to clinch but punch moves out of range. punch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. weight is looking to control punch's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can weight avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. weight actively working from the bottom here. weight is positioning himself well to prevent punch advancing to mount. weight trying to hold on to punch's head to control him but punch postures up.
weight tries to get to full guard but punch has control of the leg. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. punch wants to stand up but weight is controlling the position.

weight throws a hook to the side of punch's head but punch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. punch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. punch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. punch drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. weight tries to land a sweep but no joy. punch wants to control from the top but weight keeps moving. weight is pulling down on punch's head to control his posture. weight is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. weight manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. punch manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. punch wants to stand up but weight is controlling him. weight is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. weight postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. punch is looking to stand up but weight isn't so interested in that idea. weight pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. punch is keeping the position for now. weight decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on punch, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Some wild striking there from punch.
weight fakes the leg kick and cracks punch in the body. weight lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. weight shoots in and drives through. punch sprawls well. punch fails to land with a series of punches.
punch is looking to clinch but weight is avoiding it.
weight scores a takedown into full mount! weight sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. weight working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. punch regains half guard. weight is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. punch is trying to stand.
punch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. weight is working away from the top position though. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. weight works his way into side control. You can see the frustration on punch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. weight taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. weight decides to stand back up. punch throws a head kick but weight moves out of range.
punch shoots in but weight avoids the takedown attempt easily. punch circles away from the clinch attempt and punch cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. weight shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. punch rushes weight and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. punch goes for a takedown attempt but weight pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for rocky punch. That's going to take a lot out of him. weight scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
heavy weight showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

punch is nestled in close to weight, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. punch wants to control but weight is keeping him busy. punch is thwarting weight's attempts to control the position. punch throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. weight makes his way to full guard. A much better position for weight. Both fighters are breathing heavily. weight has his foot on punch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. punch works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. punch wants to control from the top but weight keeps moving. weight kicks punch off and gets to his feet. weight just misses with a punch to the body.
weight throws a sloppy head kick and punch moves out of range easily. punch throws a left and a right that both miss
and weight moves into the clinch. weight lands a nice knee to the body. weight is pushing punch up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. weight lands a damaging elbow. punch tries to pull guard but weight holds him up against the ropes and eventually punch drops back down to his feet.
weight breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. punch misses with a combination
and weight counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. punch wants to stand up but weight is controlling him. punch wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. weight stops punch from standing up. weight wants to pass the guard but punch is keeping the position. punch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for weight on the ground. punch uses the ropes to get back to his feet.
punch tries to grapple but his opponent circles and weight counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by weight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. weight trying to control but punch is working from the bottom. punch is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. weight stands and steps away. punch gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. punch throws a series of strikes that have weight backpedaling.
rocky punch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. punch throws a combination but it was largely blocked by weight. weight shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. weight showed some decent athleticism there. weight is trying to control the action in half guard but punch is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. punch won't allow weight to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. punch is looking to control weight's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can punch avoid being mounted? rocky punch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! punch is looking to escape. punch trying to hold on to weight's head to control him but weight postures up.
punch is staying active underneath weight, who seems content to just control the action from this position. punch wants to get back to full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. weight takes a head kick and keeps coming.
weight throws a quick inside leg kick. heavy weight is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. weight shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. punch misses with a body shot
and weight counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by weight.
And that's the end of the fight! heavy weight comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well weight has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
