The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Boyka parries the strikes from Man easily there. Man is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Boyka to escape.
Man goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Boyka rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Man's guard! Nice work there by Boyka!

We've been hearing reports that Man has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Boyka turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boyka uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Man has time to react.
Boyka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Man steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boyka.
Man wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Boyka scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Boyka just misses with a punch to the body.
Man tries to counter with a takedown but Boyka is quick to defend against it.
Boyka loads up on a big right hand but Man slips the punch.

Boyka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Man appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Man shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boyka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yuri Boyka dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Yuri Boyka seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Man throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boyka's waist but Boyka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Man off to one side.
Boyka is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Boyka lands a big right hand that sends Man crashing to the mat! Boyka stays standing though and waves Man back to his feet!
Man is rocked!
Boyka lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Man falls backwards - clearly groggy! Boyka dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuri Boyka!
Yuri Boyka was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
