Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lars Hard (ranked 3679 p4p, 464 weight class) and Ricardo Loressi (ranked 4742 p4p, 545 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ricardo Loressi!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Francis DeMontford and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hard lands a jab to Loressi's midsection.
Hard lands a jab to the head.
Loressi swings widly with a right hand
and Hard counters with a straight right hand.
Hard scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hard scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Loressi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Hard counters with a straight right hand.
Lars Hard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hard connects with a looping right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Hard holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on Hard - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Hard for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Hard scores with a nice hook to the head.
Loressi tries to pull guard but Hard holds him up against the cage and eventually Loressi drops back down to his feet.
Nice body punch from Hard.

Hard stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Hard pushes Loressi back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Hard has Loressi pushed against the cage.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Lars Hard.
Hard lands a right hook to the body.
Loressi throws a right hand that misses
and Hard counters with a stiff right hand.
Loressi misses with a hook
letting Hard counter with a right hand.
Hard scores with a body shot.
Hard drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Loressi right on the button. Loressi goes down! Hard follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hard gets the win via TKO!
