The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies clinches.
Sanchez gets underhooks to prevent Davies's takedown attempt.
Davies manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Sanchez is looking to control Davies's arms but Davies gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sanchez has his back to the cage.
Davies's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Davies.
Davies moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davies is working for takedown but Sanchez is calmly controlling the position for now.
Roberto Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Davies.

Davies manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sanchez manages to get himself to full guard.

Sanchez is really struggling to control Davies but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Oh but Sanchez is tightening it up a little... Davies has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Davies reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Davies taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sanchez!
