The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mon Ami tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mon Ami blocks a head kick by Dux.
Mon Ami is looking to counter punch.
Dux has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dux lands a nice shot that snaps Mon Ami's head back.

Dux scores with a nice strike.

Mon Ami closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Dux manages to escape and get back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
