Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Skinner (ranked 25597 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Karate (ranked 6201 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Douglas Skinner has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Skinner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Karate! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skinner tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Karate defends well and Skinner ends up having to push Karate into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Skinner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Karate. Karate throws a head kick but Skinner moves out of range.
Skinner really is a fat lump. Skinner blocks a jab. Skinner gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Karate to score an easy takedown into full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Karate showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skinner has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Karate has passed into side control.
Skinner tries to buck Karate off but Karate is having none of it. Karate looks up at the clock and then as Skinner takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Karate smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's one minute gone in the round. Skinner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Karate is staying tight to Skinner's torso, preventing him from escaping. Skinner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Skinner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Karate trying to control the action but Skinner is working from the bottom. Skinner throws Karate to one side and escapes! Karate scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Karate has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karate trying to control but Skinner is having none of it. Skinner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karate on the ground. The referee warns Skinner that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Skinner is trying to escape the mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Karate has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Skinner's face.
Karate with a couple of short strikes. Skinner manages to regain half guard. Good work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Karate content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Skinner is looking for a sweep. Karate is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skinner moves into full guard.
Karate gets to his feet. Skinner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Skinner avoids a kick to the body.
Karate lands a big head kick that sends Skinner tumbling to the mat! Karate takes a step backwards and waves Skinner back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Skinner is rocked!
It looks like Douglas Skinner has been cut. Karate shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Skinner is unconscious as Karate celebrates over his stricken foe!
