Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Iggy Manley (ranked 3119 p4p, 356 weight class) and Vic Nikolai (ranked 5681 p4p, 563 weight class). Manley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Born in the USA. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolai shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Manley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Manley definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nikolai is trying to get back to full guard.
Manley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Manley content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nikolai wants to improve his position but Manley is controlling well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nikolai can do anything to dispel that myth.
Manley seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Nikolai wants to get back to full guard but Manley has mounted him!
Manley lands a couple of good shots and Nikolai has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
It looks like Vic Nikolai has been cut.

Nikolai rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Nikolai is staying active underneath Manley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Manley distracts Nikolai with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Manley is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Manley connects with a couple of short punches.
Manley content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Nikolai working for a triangle but Manley defends it easily.
Manley makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Nikolai has his foot on Manley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manley works his way back into a safe position though.

That has opened up Vic Nikolai's cut even more.
Manley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nikolai has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manley has managed to get both his arms back between Nikolai's legs - danger averted.

Manley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Nikolai is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Manley defends well.
Manley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The cut above Vic Nikolai's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vic Nikolai's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A very excited looking Iggy Manley rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
