Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kingsley Brown (ranked 5153 p4p, 495 weight class) and David Von Erich (ranked 3186 p4p, 331 weight class). Von Erich has chosen La Grange as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Erich looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely.
Brown defending well as Von Erich loads up on a big left hand.
Von Erich takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Von Erich throws out a loose jab but Brown uses good head movement to avoid it.
Brown swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Von Erich wants to land a leg kick but Brown is out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Brown checks a leg kick.
Von Erich with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A telegraphed right hand from Brown misses the target.
Brown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Von Erich connects with a right hand. Brown shakes it off.
Brown walks into a straight right hand from Von Erich.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Von Erich misses with an uppercut.
Von Erich looks to throw the jab but Brown is out of range.
It looked like Brown wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A big left from Von Erich misses.
Von Erich misses with a series of wild punches.
Brown dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Von Erich uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown.

Von Erich throws a front kick that sends Brown stumbling back into the ropes.

Von Erich wants to land a leg kick but Brown is out of range.
Brown fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Von Erich.
Von Erich lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Brown backs up against the ropes.
Brown misses with a double jab.
Von Erich walks into a stiff left hand from Brown.
Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Von Erich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice shot lands for Von Erich.
Brown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Von Erich circles away quickly and effectively.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Von Erich! But no joy.
Brown on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Brown checks a leg kick.
Brown scores with a big combo that sends Von Erich crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Von Erich flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Brown jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kingsley Brown!
During a confident post fight interview, Kingsley Brown thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
