The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The Beast gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Tatum's jab looks to have found its range, popping The Beast under the eye.

It looks like Brock The Beast has been cut.
The Beast shoots for a takedown but Tatum saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Tatum tries to sprawl but The Beast drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The Beast is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The Beast with shots to the head and body - Tatum looks very uncomfortable down there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Beast throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The Beast is working for a guillotine from mount but Tatum frees his head quite easily.
The Beast fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Tatum wants to control but The Beast is having none of it.
The Beast has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Beast has control of Tatum's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tatum regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Tatum is in a horrible position here. The Beast smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The Beast goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tatum turns into him and now he's in The Beast's guard.
Tatum stays in close to The Beast's body and controls the position.
The Beast wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The Beast escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tatum gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tatum has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The Beast has his foot on Tatum's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tatum works his way back into a safe position though.

Brock The Beast dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The Beast tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tatum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten The Beast somewhat.

Tatum cracks The Beast with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Brock The Beast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Drederick Tatum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock The Beast.

The Beast takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice uppercut lands for Tatum. That snapped The Beast's head back.
Tatum tests The Beast's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The Beast closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

That has opened up Brock The Beast's cut even more.
Brock The Beast is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Crack! Tatum connects with the perfect overhand right and The Beast falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Tatum!

Drederick Tatum seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Brock The Beast stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will win the next fight, i don't'wanna go to WWE'.
