Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boom Boom! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Boom. Boom Boom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kadyrev tries to clinch there but Boom circles away.
Boom drives through with a takedown into guard. Kadyrev looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Boom is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kadyrev is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kadyrev has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boom keeping moving, preventing Kadyrev from controlling successfully. Boom has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kadyrev is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Boom. Kadyrev tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Boom is looking to regain half guard here but Kadyrev keeps moving and retains side control.

Boom really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kadyrev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Boom is still trying to improve position. Kadyrev will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Boom keeps trying to improve his position. Boom shoots in and bounces Kadyrev off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kadyrev manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boom manages to get himself to full guard.

Kadyrev is putting a hurting on Boom here, landing some big shots from side control. Khalid Kadyrev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kadyrev tries to control but Boom wriggling away. Boom is trying to reverse the position but instead Kadyrev has taken his back - oops!

I really don't envy Boom right now.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Kadyrev's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Kadyrev throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. You can see the frustration on Boom's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khalid Kadyrev dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Kadyrev gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kadyrev pushes Boom off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kadyrev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kadyrev shoots in and gets a takedown into Boom's guard. Boom looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kadyrev has picked Boom up and slammed him! Boom can't keep hold of the triangle and Kadyrev manages to pass to side control! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boom looking for a sweep but Kadyrev has passed into full mount! Oh no! Boom tries to improve his position but instead Kadyrev has taken his back! Kadyrev controlling well, preventing Boom from escaping the position.

Boom drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kadyrev manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Boom has Kadyrev in his guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Khalid Kadyrev showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kadyrev has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
